We can't rally. CNBC has already said we're in the weakest part of the year. -g

Drug stocks are taking a beating today. What's the news?

Re: lowrisk.com

What % of all US investors go to lowrisk.com?
Granted that this low bullish/ high bearish stance was there on 3/9 ahead of the big move we've seen.

Are these folks more technical, more internet saavy, more capable of using a message board? or less all the above?

Reason I ask, there are too many technical indicators that point to a turn coming. there is also the seasonal indicator (slow summers, bad Septembers, etc). The smarter folks that are aware of this (will take caution), but the more general population that's aware of this, means the longer it takes to happen.

Personally, I've been jumping in and out all year (mostly long). It kills me when I see my SNDK go from 16 to 50+, my ZRAN go from 11 to 25+, my WEBX go from 9 to 16+, and I only rode them for 15-20%. Though, I can't be disappointed in the 122% gain YTD.

Today, I have the itchy finger to click/buy something. I realize I'm feeling very complacent and with the short pullback we've seen, you want to go long (not short). What happens next is a perfect script. I try to be patient, wait in cash for the sign of the turn. The markets head back up one more time, and give me the false green light to go long just one more time. What happens? I'm a deer in the headlights, and the turn is swifter than I imagined possible. I'm hopeful to get out without much loss, and hold, but it only gets worse. Now, I'm stuck and I can't get short, as it always seem too late (though it won't be).

We have the BPCOMPQ turning over, the VIX (MACD) indicating that it's about to turn up, the CPC ratio average crossing the 0.8 line and so on...

Are these all to be ignored?

This is my very real question. As much as I love to be long, and want to buy the next great story, when does the next shoe drop?
