Avast! is another free AV software package for non commercial use that was mentioned on this thread a while back. Message 18979252 I've been using it for a couple of weeks. Seems more robust than AVG to me, especially concerning updates and email monitoring. Updates are quick and frequent. Avast only needs to download the newest definitions, not all of them each time like AVG does, so downloads are always quick. It is set up by default to automatically check for updates multiple times per day, no attention required on your part. Esteban
