So do you think Social Security is a Ponzi scheme or not? The Ponzi scheme is being perpetrated by politicians who continue to raid SS funds for purposes other than what they were intended for and who continue to spend money we don't have. Can this country afford a national level social security program? Of course it can. Would we have one if it was up to conservatives? Probably not...tells us something about their nature.
