Does it really refer directly to Oklahoma City and Mr. "McVey". That is very uncanny if true. I think, I'll pick up a copy myself. It was written in 1991? TWA Flight 800 is a whole other "can of worms". 100s of people saw something/a light (a missle?) go up towards the plane and then it exploded. Yet, the government says the center fuel tank is to blame, even though previously and since 747 center fuel tanks haven't exploded.

And if it did take four years, how do you know that the author's selection of location and character name didn't come along until after - or indeed, weren't influenced or inspired by - the tragic events in Oklahoma City on April 19th, 1995?"
