Those of us in the West don't see it the same way you do.

Maybe not those in the coastal states but a lot of people in the rest of the west want less command and control from Washington DC.

Also making the decisions locally doesn't always mean that environmental protections go out the window.

Bush is dismantling the EPA one board at a time.

Dismantleing means giving it more money and more power each year???
