Those of us in the West don't see it the same way you do. Maybe not those in the coastal states but a lot of people in the rest of the west want less command and control from Washington DC. Also making the decisions locally doesn't always mean that environmental protections go out the window. There is no way environmental protection can be done piecemeal as in state by state esp. in the West. Its a veiled attempt to kill the EPA. The White House must think everyone is stupid because they have been fooling so many people for the past two years. Sorry, its all BS. Another nail in Bush's coffin........... ted
