If this is a management problem because of lack of maintenance, watch for class action suits.. I bet they are pilling up now.


They need more transmission lines to handle power surges but they won't be built without an agreement from the States to allow a rate increase to cover the cost of them. The regulators will not allow any rate adjustment.

This is a classic case of the problems this partial freedom of Utilities has caused. It was the reason for the utility bankruptcy in California.

The Socialists, of course, think the problem is "greedy private enterprise."
