you know where I get my opinion of the jobs climate?

-govt statistics (overall jobs, new unemployment claims)
-congress.org website, letters on "economy" and "jobs"
congress.org

This doesn't look good to me AT ALL.

However, an Arnold win for CA gov will fix things a little here imho. The most important thing it will do, is cause people to be more upbeat. There was some poll that said Bustamante has a good showing in the polls and I don't believe it. No way we have had enough of the Davis regime.

Yeah, Nevada is becoming an economic Ellis Island. I can't believe Californians will continue to embrace Stalinist economics for even another election cycle. They are a volatile state. I doubt they'll turn to Arnold Schwartzenegger when it comes down to it. But there have now been newly-created many opportunities, for 2004, for a Republican party-if it can shake off it's Huffingtonization, and see the future...

I'd love to get a place in NV. The problem is, it gets too dang hot there. Plus, I like oak trees, rain, plenty of lakes for fishing, good access to the ocean for some deep-sea action. Nevada doesn't seem to offer that sorta stuff. And its too dang bad too, because it seems like a grand place otherwise...

(sigh - Beethoven. Really works against my misanthropic inclinations...)

LOL. That's a good one. A state built on gambling revenues, the Mustang Ranch, and future nuclear waste storage, is a more realistic view of the USA ......Nevada's a bigger fantasy land than Hollywood.
