And the travel office scandal. This may not have had the largest national ramifications, but it is the most revealing of character. The pettiness, vindictiveness, the ruthlessness in pursuit of such an insignificant goal.

The willingness to misuse the FBI and the FBI's willingness to be used is pretty shocking.

The CA energy crisis was a direct result of a Republican governor (Wilson), Republican-supporting energy lobbies who spent millions, and greedy energy companies.

Enron/WorldCom/GX/etc were a result of avarice from men who used the Republican-based deregulation to steal billions. Most of those, by the way, were Republicans, and many supported Republican candidates generously.

Marc Rich was a mistake, pure and simple. Maybe from an unemotional valuation, worse than Monica-gate, but not nearly as villified.
