Reagan saved the world? From what? Bad movies by changing from acting to politics? Reagan propped up communism in the USSR by providing a lightning rod for the Soviets to show how evil the Americans were. The USSR and Eastern Bloc did not fall because of our might, or our weapons, or our bluster, but because of the poverty and misery that a Communist society creates. Give China another 25 years, and the same thing will happen. Unless we give their leaders an excuse by positioning ourselves as a polarizing 'evil empire' to terrorize their citizens with. Capitalism is what 'brought the wall down', not Reagan.
