Gee, so he was that bad, hey? I don't recall him lying to the American people to start a war.

I don't think it's quite that simple. Clinton screwed up, no doubt. But he isn't the first man to be led astray by a cute smile and a tight thong.

He shouldn't have been messin with the girl, but he did. And once he was busted, thanks to a talkative Monica and a opportunistic Linda Tripp, he did what most people do when they get caught having sex. They lie.

He was trying to avoid embarresment to himself and his family by lying. That's a pretty good reason to lie.

Bush on the other hand has other reasons to lie. He suppresses the truth where ever it affects his interests. He lied in the SOTU address about Al Qaeda and Saddam and WMD and Uranium. But for some reason the Congress can look the other way on these lies. The congress has voted to not even look into it.

On the other hand we spent millions of dollars investigating Clinton and even had a full time special prosecutor checking out every detail...right down to the blue dress. We needed to know that stuff didn't we?

And if anyone thinks that Clinton was the first president to have an affair, then I got a bridge in Brooklyn you might be interested in buying.
