And once he was busted,... he did what most people do when they get caught having sex. They lie.

That is really not the point. Clinton lied before a Federal Grand Jury. He did this as the highest law enforcement officer in America. And he also got away with it. Surely he, working with his cronies, have broken our system. And that is why many of us yet reject him and always will. Has nothing at all to do with his affair. It has everything to do with his having led the destruction of our law.

He was trying to avoid embarresment to himself and his family by lying.

Hehe. I understand this, but of course there are better ways for him to to have avoided this embarrassment. That he was too flawed an individual to have chosen them is just not an issue to be considered by the courts. When a court trains its attention upon a matter, those involved with it are bound by civil contract to address the court truthfully. When they fail to do this, as they often do, then the court is bound to seek suitable appropriate restitution. This really did not occur in the case of Bill Clinton. Clinton proved that our "democracy" is a sham and that the presidency is merely a weakened monarchy.

Clinton's falsehoods were indisputably lies - lies to our legal system, the secular religion to which all of us must bow. Bush's "falsehoods" are not indisputable lies. They are not even proven falsehoods at this juncture. Even should we discover them true falsehoods, we may not know he uttered them because they were false. There is just no comparison between Bush and Clinton here. I think it is well proven that Clinton is a traitor (yes indeed!) against American law, and thus against America itself.
