Well, it's a matrix.

It attempts to place you on the matrix with two axis measured:

1) economic views ('liberal vs conservative'), and

2) attitude toward state power (authoritarianism vs libertarianism).... what they call 'social views'.

I think there should be one more measuring axis: measuring the difference between views such as 'live and let live' and 'telling/mandating how others can live'.

...I thought one statement of their's was interesting:

"...the opposite of fascism is not communism but anarchism (ie liberal socialism), and that the opposite of communism ( i.e. an entirely state-planned economy) is neo-liberalism (i.e. extreme deregulated economy... Libertarianism)'
