I'll tell you Deeno, I heard nothing but CRYING from Palo Alto residents, most of which pay almost nothing in taxes, when this repeal was getting underway.

The reason the legislature acts the way it does is due to pressure from voters. If voters said , to hell with it, cut my services I don't care... we'd all be fine. But of course you know that isn't the case right? I mean you are not suggesting that the california legislature is on a spending binge with absolutely no support from the population? Come on.
