LOL... "The same issues that are driving an increasingly bigger wedge between us and those Iraqis that might have been more cooperative"

Germany and Japan after WW II demonstrate your analysis is dumb and your conclusion above is based upon dumb analysis.

Seeing is believing for most people. america.ath.cx is seeing. You should take a look and be informed.

Bombing the UN drives a wedge, distributing healthcare, food and rebuilding and cleaning up donot.

That's not obvious to you. Iraqis are being placed in positions of responsibility and are monitored to see they are just. LOL you call that driving a wedge.... LOL I don't think so.

You mean like taking better care of the oil fields than the people?

Don't they have any opinion polls in Iraq? Where's the latest Gallup poll?

Here's the poll question for 1000 Iraqis taken nation wide at random:

Do you want the US to continue to provide military assistance and occupation?

The ACTIONS of the Bush people consistently indicate that our goals are far more hidden

What actions....distributing food, water and medical care, rebuilding the infrastructure?

Your arguement is the VERY REASON I would like to integrate our forces and thus put AN IRAQI face on this. I have MANY friends serving there and I KNOW they believe in what they are doing and believe they are HELPING not OCCUPYING the Iraqi people. By using a 3:1 ratio with a little bit of conversational English training, some weapons training (although I would prefer to find previous troops) I think it could work and we could be seen as PARTNERS. Heck, I would even be willing to offer them and their families AMERICAN CITIZENSHIP if they served 4 years. jdn
