Well, as I recall somebody (Karen?) said that they had invited people of various faiths to give the invocation and she thought that was interesting, and I said what I thought would be interesting would be if an atheist were invited to give the invocation and used it to deny the existence of God.

For some reason that casual comment has invoked a lot more discussion than it merited (something that has, of course, never happened on SI before).
