So do you wait for a reversal (X) before you buy or try to anticipate things?

what i found interesting about p&f was during the distribution phase of the market (when the market looked like was still advancing) the breakout signals were often excellent sell points...if the double bottom break is bought and the stock advances from here, it would look like the bull is still intact.
