A whole year and more after the Karine A, and the world still needs convincing that Arafat is part of the problem? Over a year from Bush's 6/24/02 speech, where he declared that the Palestinians needed new leadership untainted by terrorism, and the world need some new demonstration of which way Arafat's will lies? Doesn't the world have a clue yet? What chance do you think he has of surviiving ? 50-50 ? At this point, I think Arafat would survive another Great Flood.

Sig, Unfortunately the world view outside the US is reflective of the anti israel views we see on this thread so frequently. 22 died two days ago and a terrorist and his bodyguard yesterday. Folks abroad complain about targeted assasinations being resumed derailing the road map. The hell with 22 Jewish civilians. They got what they deserved or at least they reaped what their govt sowed. Whatever the causes of this view whether it be pure anti-semetism or the pathological study of history by pseudo historians, particularly on this thread(snyder and marcos come to mind), Israel has become the worlds guilt trip. For those like marcos formerly of mexico, he ids with the pals because he feels his people were screwed by the US 150 years ago. Snyder only has empathy for the plight of the Palestinians--those killed in suicide bombings reap what they sow in his eyes. Leon is a Jew who hates his heritage and lives in denmark although an american. And now Gustave with his judeo-fascist bull shit. Personally i will follow Bush to the gates of hell and back in order to destroy terrorism and TerrorISTS and i have no use for the history twisters who post here as experts, judging history totally out of historical context. Had a beautiful day at the beach yesterday. I should have stayed there. It doesnt take much to get me angry these days. Mike
