The U.N. official who refused to allow U.S. troops to protect the facility is culpable. I wonder who that person is? I wonder if it was the Secretary General himself?

I believe I heard the other day that some UN spokesman was claiming that even had UN leadership rejected US protection in Baghdad, it was STILL our responsibility to protect them..

Something about comparing them to NYC cops who protect the UN headquarters and claiming the protected should not have been given a choice...
