Clark has a powerful grassRoots organization in virtually every state and they are mobilized...

IMO, if he announces he will run, he'll raise money even faster than Dean has.

People like Clark now just because he's a fresh face, but he has no money

AS, I really hope the democratic party has learned from Dean's ability to raise funds here. Money is not an issue in this election, or at least, not as much of an issue as people thought a year ago. If the Dems pick a decent, winnable team, money will come in droves from all kinds of unlikely allies- unions + business leaders (especially tech)- these ordinarily don't vote together but in this case, they are both against Bush. Parts of the military establishment disgusted with the Rumsfeld agenda and the death in Iraq, plus the military pay cuts proposed at the same time we create a giveaway dividend tax cut for Bush's crony friends. These people usually support republicans but not this time. Whoever the Dems put up, as long as it is a reasonable alternative to Bush will be extremely well funded imho. Pick the best man or woman for the job, somebody who can win a general election and not a fringe candidate imho.

General Clark is more than just a General. He is much much more than this. He is a strategist, a Rhodes Scholar, a debater, a best-selling author. He worked in the White House in the Ford administration on the U.S. Budget...He is an economist, a philosopher, a politician, a diplomat, a war hero, a civilian hero, an athlete, a lecturer, and a genius, all rolled into one man with integrity, respectability, good looks, and honesty. I can think of no man that is better suited and molded to be President...He fought and earned everything he has including his honor, which is his most valuable possession.
