Why was there a rush to invade Iraq? Iraq was completely contained. We had superiority of air power. They had no nuclear weapon and we knew that. There was no immenent threat. We were anxious to get rid of Saddam and used 9/11 as a pretext. We may have bitten off more than we can chew.
