We haven't petted the frogs. We expect any frogs that we let in to become 'Mericans. We have petted our minorities, though. We haven't has major explosions for a while, so maybe it's working. A lot of people don't like what's going on, though. It looks like reverse racism. Even some of the minorities, such as Connerly and Thomas, recognize the reaction it is causing and the unfairness of what is being done and oppose the petting (known as affirmative action). It also causes an automatic presumption that any of the preferred minorities who made it did so because of discrimination in their favor and could not do so because of their own merits.
