Think of the Civil War, WWI & WWII. Freedom has a very high price, and there are too many paying the price because they had few other opportunities. Opposite the samurai class is the elite class the vast majority who whose contribution to our freedom will be to pay taxes to support the samurai class. The others can hide behind their ideals and their sheep.
