So far today, Don, the SOX has printed a slightly lower low than last Friday.

This would seem to indicate to me that more weakness should be expected but with the put to call ratio running well over 1.0 so far today it may not be a whole lot of selling.

It's kind of strange to see the market falling despite all those upgrades today in addition to more stellar economic reports but I guess that someone is at least giving me a chance to lose less on my AMAT trade.

I said on Friday I thought we had another local top in place. So far today we are getting confirmation of that top. No significant damage though to the uptrend just yet in my humble opinion.

I'm hoping to buy a decent sized dip but how likely is that anyway? Valuations are high but growth is taking place even if it is slow growth it's still faster than was expected last quarter. Is it not?
