Funny math that has the budget "balanced" but the national debt growing. Clintonomics = just lie about it.

The Social Security surplus was used to fund the general budget, through the theory that buying government bonds was a form of investment. Somehow, the Administration did not count those bonds as part of the debt. Thus, we had a surplus that somehow involved the accrual of increasing future obligations, or, in other words, not a real surplus. Maybe Democrats are just better at Enron accounting.........

You've been lied to and like about half the American Public believed it hook line and sinker. It is common knowledge except for the ignorant that entitlement programs such as Social Security are accounted for off budget.
