Just like chuck and me, you view al quaeda and terrorism as the enemy; so side by side we fight them---USA and Mexanada; Marcos and Chuck. Truth, Justice and the American(large inclusive A) Way. And terrorists include hamas and hizbollah too.

Marcos, what Chuckie doesn't understand is that the rest of us are using him and the USA as a stepping stone to what we really want. If I hadn't funded the USA, they would be that much worse off. He misunderstands empire, being new to it. The British had hundreds of years at it. What many colonials failed to realize is that it's a two way street, with profits flowing in both directions, serving the interests of the colonies as much as those at the centre of the empire. The colonials turfed out the British and lost much of the income and benefit from the two way street. The true power resides with those creating the value, not those bearing the guns. Which is a different situation from when territory was the valuable thing to have. Land can be taken at the point of a gun, minds can't. Minds are what create the value. They flee and work in better places. Like Albert Einstein fled Germany and Japan got nuked. The Empire needs to be careful who it treats with contempt and chases away with arrogance and bullying. With a click of my mouse, I can shift everything away from the USA. I can buy everything elsewhere. I can sell things elsewhere. I can refuse any contact with US$ or US goods and services. So can billions of other people. The USA lives on the goodwill and trust of the rest of the world. If we lose confidence in the US$ and the US political system and electorate which dictates the US political system, we'll be outa there. The US$ will implode. Fortunately for the USA, other options are no better right now. We the Sheeple have the real power. Cyberspace gives us a lot of power. Mqurice
