My understanding is that the SAT's have been steadily "dumbed down" over the years, so it may not be as impressive as it looks.

Well, isn't it you can use calculator on the SAT now? I'm not sure if that makes the difference. But SAT is supposed to be an aptitude test!

The article says the increase is because of today's students enroll in more advanced math and science courses than before. Now I wonder what did the older generation learn in high school!
