Well, I guess we'll never know, since this administration has stonewalled every effort to get at the truth. FTW: I don't think that Bush has deliberately joined in the lying. But I do believe that some people below him, with enough authority to do so, have lied. About intelligence. About the threat of Iraq. About energy policy. About coverups of the intelligence fiasco. About the environment (global warming and NYC toxicity). About 9/11 and the Saudis. They are smart to be the most secretive administration in history.

Did Bush collect the intellegence? No. Did Bush analyze the intelligence? No. Did Bush modify or change the intelligence? No. Did Rumselfeld, Wolfowitz and Cheney change the intelligence? No. No my arse. Where is your evidence that none of them knew, created, modified, forged and lied?????????? Where is your evidence?????? The fact is that someone DID lie. So where is your evidence that none of the lying POS you mentioned did?????

I have never said that Bush lied. I have stated that, in my opinion, someone in the Bush administration is lying or grossly incompetent. Someone misrepresented the intelligence, possibly on purpose. If so, they need to be rooted out, to prevent them from doing further damage. WMD have not been found, when we were told that there were 1400 potential sites. When the sites came up empty, we were told that the scientists would give evidence. We were told of solid links between Saddam and Al Qaeda. We were told that, unless we acted, there would be a mushroom cloud somewhere in the US. And what did we find? A set of scales? Trailers that our own DIA engineers say were for producing hydrogen? Did Bush modify or change the intelligence? No. Did Rumselfeld, Wolfowitz and Cheney change the intelligence? No. You take this on faith, because you like the administration, and cannot imagine them lying. Well, I'm sure that Clinton supporters thought the same, as did Nixon supporters. I prefer that my government maintain some transparency so that we can keep our checks and balances, and not allow them to hide their mistakes and potential lies from public viewing.
