I was being polite. I've been snarled at for using appropriate terminology. :-)

I gotta tell you, considering the small amount of time needed to get my data, I'm really not impressed with these guys. They seem to be desperately hunting for anything that is anti-government and believe it just because they want to. And hang onto their unsupported beliefs in spite of clear evidence to the contrary.

And not one of them has responded to that post.

There's an easy way to test the pseudo-theories strewn about here: Ice Fishing! Divide everyone up into 3 groups. One group walks to the center of a lake with a mean temp. of 33(F.) degrees (as measured 6" below surface). There will, of course, be some inherent risks as ice can have a curious conditional liquid quality at this temperature, but hey, any real scientist should put an extra degree of effort into his working theory, just to prove the point.

Group 2 walks the lake that measures 31(F.) degrees. Now, this is bound to be completely safe, right? It's either ice or it isn't! If someone falls in, that will prove the conspiracy because everyone knows that material properties work in a binary on/off manner, and at 31 degrees, only a Bush-ordered thermonuclear blast for grins and giggles would make the area unsafe.

Group 3 will traverse the lake which is -30(F.) degrees (Thirty below zero for the hearing impaired). Since steel oughta be perfectly safe at 1000 degrees and ice oughta be perfectly safe at 31 degrees, a written test will be required for inclusion into this group. Best of luck to the others. Unfortunately, no floatation devices will be available during time of testing. <chuckles>
