Actually, we tried the give him more time approach. He was in material breach of the conditions set out by the Security Council on December 8, 2002.

On the date the article below was written, he was in DEFIANT breach.

Three weeks later Blix still found him to be in breach.

In the meantime he was playing hide the missile. It appears he had enough time, over four months, to put them wherever he wanted.

So at that point you think we should have shrugged our shoulders and looked the other way.

The more you post, the more ridiculous your argument gets. If the object was to go to war, then your analysis is correct. If the object was to keep Saddam disarmed and cornered, then the above post means nothing.

Bush had Saddam where we thought we wanted him. However, Bush had other ideas and declared war. Bush fooled a nation and a dictator. I knew it then, I know it now. I will do all I can to make sure it doesn't happen again.
