Lieberman is right about Dean. But Lieberman is just the wrong candidate. Once Lieberman and Edwards drop out you'll see a shift to Kerry. Once Gephardt fails to dazzle and drops out, he will will get behind Kerry too.

Clinton will be concerned that a southerner is needed on the ticket. As soon as Kerry commits to a southern running mate like Graham or Slark, then Clinton and Gore will endorse him. None of these people want Dean to be the nominee, and they will control more than 50% of the delegates. Dean may have a grand crusade but he will not be nominated. Then Kerry and Dean will make up and 90% of Dean supporters will enthusiastically support Kerry. The other 10% will vote Green.

This could be Karl Rove's dream come true -- have Dean become the early front runner...

In fact, I would bet Karl and his dirty tricksters would even help Dean with fundraising if they could.

Karl has probably warGamed scenarios with all the candidates...Clark is the wild card though -- IMO, he'll be involved in one way or another...;-)

Re: Nader used to get 50,000 per event in those cities. Remember?

No, Pinochio, I don't. Nader could fill a college auditorium, which might be 5,000. But I think you're off by a order of magnitude. :)

I think you're confusing protests with rallies.;)

He also praised the "spirit of Seattle." Nader was a first-hand observer to some of that spirit last fall, when the city streets were taken over by some 50,000 protesters during the meeting of the World Trade Organization.
