" It is not the criticism that is unAmerican, it is the deliberate lies against an American President, regardless of political party, during wartime. This is not wartime. That's another element in an exaggerated scenario that's intended to invalidate criticism and suppress dissent. In case the Democrats haven't noticed, we are in a war against terrorism. Terrorism's root is in the Middle East. Being pro-active, Bush is trying to make the Middle East a much less dangerous threat to America, starting with Afghanistan, then Iraq and then the Palestinians. In case you haven't noticed, Bush is failing miserably. Iraq is in an uproar and has become a cause celebre for the Islam world; as reported by the WA Times and Fox News, the Taliban and al Qaeda are resurgent in Afghanistan; N. Korea is playing games with us and poses a serious threat to S. Korea; Bush presents Pakistan as a friend while Pakistan trades in clandestine weapons with N. Korea and provides shelter and sustenance to al Qaeda and the Taliban; Bush angrily dismissed the UN and most of our important allies before the war and now they not available to help in the worsening crisis overseas; and finally, our only significant ally left, T. Blair, Bush's poodle, is in serious trouble at home and can not afford to make one false move or the Brits will have his head in Parliament. Now if you are slow on the uptake or in some kind of major denial, that's your problem. But if you think I am going to standby and let some dubious leader put my family and my country in danger because of his incompetency and ignorance, I got news for you. This country is in a serious mess and its mostly Mr. Bush's doing. As an American, I have an obligation to speak out and demand that he change his ways. Trying to sabotage our government during wartime IS unAmerican and unPatriotic. Sir, with all due respect, its you who doesn't know what it is to be an American. Its you who doesn't deserve to live this country. Its you who must change your ridiculous ways and move into the 21st century with the rest of us. And its your side that's sabotaging our country......if you doubt that fact look at the budget deficit for next year; take a closer look at the Patriot Act; tally up how many soldiers have died in Iraq since the war was 'officially' over; have lunch with a few of our former allies and see what they think of your president. You and your side have had your chance for three long, miserable years and you've screwed up.......big time! Either get with the program or step out of the way but either way keep your mouth shut about patriotism and unAmericanism. That game is over.....finished.....kaput! Have a good one!
