All the predatory criminal political class needs is more credit, to get further into the pockets of citizens yet unborn.

I agree, Prop 13 change would cause chaos. BTW, I was in Salt Lake City last week, a relative owns a lot of property there, and pays ppty taxes less than Calif, w/o Prop 13. It's a clean well-kept city, MUCH cleaner than SF or LA. I don't think Buffet has the right idea, he's an investment genius, not public policy wonk or politician, and should stick to risk analysis of insurance assets.
