joe,

Many thousands of websites now exist that ask questions about the many odd occurrences of 9/11 and offer alternate theories that differ from the official narrative. Some of these sites are clearly written by the lunatic fringe, but many, many others are from authors who appear to be clear-eyed and rational.

In spite of the large number of questionable explanations for incredible happenings, the real issue to my mind is the utter lack of official deconstruction of the available evidence.

Consider the recent Columbia investigation, which included vast amounts of video scrutiny, computer modelings and mock-up recreations.

Contrast this with the absolute silence and inaction from the government and the press regarding expert analysis of the amateur and media stills and video from 9-11.

The only serious investigative and forensic study performed to date, has been from private individuals.

Whether intentional or otherwise, this strange inertia from the government and from the major media only tends to reinforce the appearance that there is something to hide.
