You've probably already tried this but FWIW.

This might sound a little basic, but I've found that when configuring IP addresses while setting up a router...after all the proper numbers have been entered (and there is no firewall issue) a re-boot can sometimes magically fix connection problems.

i use linksys as router to the network of 8 PCs. each time
you add a new PC to the network: power OFF all PCs, then linksys, then cable modem--- in that order. Wait for few minutes then power ON in reverse order: cable, linksys, PC... It works for me....just a thought ...keep us informed in case you get it solved
