I don't see dems suggesting any rational alternative that make any sense to create jobs or demonstrate a better way to fight the war on terrorism.

- no more preemptive strikes against sovereign nations (saves money and reduces terrorism)
- get UN involved in the Iraq mess immediately (saves money and reduces terrorism)
- repeal the dividend tax cut (saves HUGE money and creates no growth, growth companies don't want to pay dividends and they shouldn't have to make excuses as to why)
- cut PAYROLL taxes to make US workers more competitive wrt offshoring.
- get a real treasury secretary vs. the old crony we have from the 70s who clearly doesn't understand global economics.

Pretty simple really. Basically Bush's iraq policy and his tax cut policy have been bad.
