Tell you what, after we install the pipeline, let's drop you in ANWR and give you as much time as you need to find the "big ole pipe". I bet we find Bin Laden before you find that dang pipe.

what happens when there is a break in the pipe?

It gets fixed and cleaned up.

And what will the ANWR, one of the few untouched places left on this planet, look like with a big ole pipe running through it.

It will look like a frozen barren wasteland with a pile line running through it. At least in the small percentage of the area where you could actually see it.

Would you want an oil pipe running through your backyard?

I live in Louisiana, there are lots of pipelines down here.

maybe its time the US starts to cut back on its oil consumption.

I agree, but we would still need lots more oil.

So, you think it's OK to have pipelines running through pristine deserts in the Middle East where Arabs live, but not in Alaska where Americans live, sounds kind of hypocritical to me, and maybe even racist.

I think the big oil pipeline, is already there. It is the Alaskan oil pipeline, and it runs along the Western border of ANWR.
