Yes I am aware of the Arnold/Buffet connection. But you were talking about how unfair Prop 13 is so it didn't make sense to me to compare real estate taxes in Ca and Neb. Unless you know that Buffet owns property in Ca that I'm not aware of.

BTW, I pay more taxes on my much cheaper house here than your employee does there.

Cal is in trouble because stupid Grey Davis and his stupid democrat cronies doubled the state payroll and tripled state funded benefits on the flawed expectation that the capital gains and stock option tax bubble would continue ad infinitum. The freeloading state employees and benefit recipients thought they could fleece the hard working successful entrepreneurs forever. Now they are gone and won't return until somebody in your state bites the bullet.
