Everyone, and I mean everyone on CNBC is wildly bullish. At least 10K (DOW) and 2K (NAZ) was the mantra for all. The closest thing to a bear was a guy thinking we only had 10% upside for the rest of the year. I have not seen Pisani so giddy since ..oh yeah Mar 2000.

With all the upgrades and analyst yaking, it still looked like distribution to me. If the economy is so strong, how come all the consensus numbers for Thursday's ECO data are significantly lower than previous? Built in positive surprise?

GREENLAW: Thanks for your insights! Hard to argue with your logic in the LT. Rally has been pretty amazing since March indeed.

Did you make some money on the gold stocks? I have recently gotten into some of the China stocks and doing dip-buying into gold/china stocks.

Good trading,

Dr.Bob

GREENLAW, just buy good stocks and hold them <g>. that's what my Dad said this am when I suggested he trim his holdings a little. he said, "I'm not a trader, I don't need to make much just not lose any." well, so far he has been correct. but silly old me feels much like you do, that levels are quite elevated and dangerous. talked to a couple brokers yesterday (not a huge sample), and they said the only new money they have been seeing is when people die and their children inherit. otherwise people are withdrawing ira money to live. good luck, tim
