So long as you don't disminish the intent by Al-Qaeda to murder 50,000 civilians, or tell us that we're "over-reacting", I'm willing to entertain a rational discussion.

A rational discussion with unilateral pre-conditions? No thanks.

However, I believe we're taking a concrete, but more subtle, approach to dealing with the real enemy, Wahhabist militancy and Saudi complicity/complacency in harboring and abetting them.

Let's go with this instead:

I must agree that SA is more of a foe than Iraq, or at least harbors more culpable terrorists. Why is it that we are approaching them differently? Because they have something we want? Because the Bush family has extensive business ties with them? Why treat SA so preferentially?

And more importantly, is the approach working? If so, why not approach the entire ME in this fashion?
