Dear Doug, We go again as we do
without wanting but not having
wherever we look without eyes
we never find
on top
nor on bottom
and then we go again.

Sometimes without anything
it goes there once or twice
but never again, at least not without asking
for those times that neither will do
there is always time and time again
how can we count them for it's not just one or two
but multitudes or none, we know not which.

For these reasons I kindly ask
that imbeciles not walk the plank.
For there is no greater sin
than two times two makes six.

I trust you get my drift
and spring breezes bring the best
that our wiser hearts can not send.
