yes under firewall | zones
OH! Ok, now I see where you can add! Thanks.

if you've had za on the target pc before, that might explain it.
I never did, but I might have been unable to successfully install it a few years back. For some reason I remember downloading the program, but when I would hit the install icon I couldn't install it so I gave up (that's if it was ZA - it might have been another program - my memory on these types of details is bad). Do you think I should delete the new install icon I have on my desktop that I downloaded last night and re-download, or should I just try it first?

in addition to the firewall install issue, i'll suggest that you look at your new Linksys router configuration and change the password. out of the box, the password is something universally known... admin.
So funny that you brought that up. My nephew was staying over here a few weekends ago and he plugged his laptop into my router for internet access. He made me change my password for the Linksys that day. He said that if there were ever a problem, then all you have to do is hit the reset button on the router and that would put it back to the old password: admin
I think the user name is admin too!
