yes it comes with a year's supply of updates

my susbscription expires in 4/04

and i won't be able to add that allotment to the new program subscription

but i quit being concerned about that quite awhile ago and now just get the program when/if i feel it's needed.

sometimes with norton products i don't see an immediate need to be on the front end of their product cycle, and so i might end up getting Systemworks, forex, for free with rebates because they are trying to clear inventory.

nav2004 is a different story. the unpacking engine advancements are substantial (2004 is detecting things that earlier versions missed), so i'm installing it sooner rather than later.
