Ted, Because Bustamante is Lt. Governor under a less than charismatic governor. What does that tell you about the caliber of Bustamante?

Nothing, except that Davis has been in the game longer than Bustamante. Does that make him better than Bustamante? On the contrary, Davis had five years to prove how incompetent he really is.

Here's my point: Davis is being supported by the DNP, who wants nothing more than Davis' fund-raising abilities (i.e. special interests) and CA's 52 electoral votes. They don't mind if CA goes to the dogs, as long as they can blame it on Bush. Davis is nothing more than McAuliffe's lap dog, which explains why the usual DNP suspects are supporting him over that maverick Bustamante.

Is this a far-fetched conspiracy theory? If you think so, then point to three positives in Davis' track record that make him a better choice than Bustamante.
