Good Morning Orca: Yes, Saddam controlled the oil, and built one palace after another for his family, shared nothing with the Iraqi people. My point is if we do nothing, terrorists (and Saddam is a terrorist)control the oil and we are at their mercy. We take control, pay for the rebuilding with the oil, and turn it over to the people. 9-11 was not just about Osama and Saddam, it was about a region of the world that just doesn't like us. We have been there less than 6 months, everyone wants instant gratification. Regards, Bob
