Not sure about EW at all - it all started out as a bit of a giggle from what I've been told. But one of these days we may see gold acting like it did in the late 70s when $50 moves occurred. I was with a mining company and we started trying our hand at hedging - starting with $25 stop buys, but we got whipsawed so many times that we kept broadening the stops.

Louis EW gold

I've actually seen that EW count in a few places, including some gold bug sites.

I think Sinclair has posted it too.

Anyway, I have used EW channel to maintain my exposure over the past year.

Also, often times EW '4's walk out of the channel. Albeit, this one's been walking for a long time. (g)

Interesting anyway.
