> Yes, a lot of people would rather have freedom than all of the above, but not all the people.

It could drive me nuts if I hear all the media praise old and young Kim all day and all night even some of their policies and practices are actually good, but appear bad.

How about the "mass starvation"? May be a bit of exaggeration as used to be, I think. But, I say that they may be better off under Kim Jong Il. That is a bold claim people have to see through the surface to get it.

>Quite a few people here on SI asked me why don't I just go back to China since I am pretty critical about the US. The only thing I can say is it is too late for me to go back now, can't even get a decent job.

Read this article. cnd.org The American degree doesn't help nowadays. The guy who have MPA is hard to find the good job in China (and US) now make a lot more less than the Chinese alumini, 1/2 what Chinese BS/BA graduate made.

It is a mystery to me why people want to exaggerate the greatness of degree and education. IMO, it is not the big way to cure the problem we face today. Why should we give out the tax break for high education and let every dumb ass to go to college? Is it because that we think college whcih enjoy the tax break of all kinds can raise their tuition to a outrage level and let 2000 college all shine? It is my experience everything is very hard in US execpt when you want to get a degree. It is easy to get after the heavy tuition debt and worth less. The number of US school should be cut in 1/2 at least.
