It still amounts to a very thin basis for the theories that you are posting. When you look at the actions of James Baker, or Tom DeLay, or Karl Rove it reveals that sinister motives are more likely than benign ones. Their whole philosophy of power is that if you can't win at the election, then win in the recall. If you can't win then impeach and try again. If you can win even once then change the rules, the districts, and the machines to insure you never lose. If you can't get two bites at the apple, try for three. Democracy is not a goal for them, it is a tool to achieve aristocracy. TP
