Kerry is not radically pro-Israel. If he were, he'd have given Bush a carte blanche to take out Iraq, like Lieberman and Gephardt did. Instead, Kerry has been very tough on Bush and held his feet to the fire to proceed carefully and with maximum international cooperation and post-war planning. Bush did not take Kerry's advice.

Thomas,

Re: Do you have any idea why Kerry is so radically pro-Israel?

Can you point me to some talking points or comments on this matter? I haven't seen anything come out of Mr. Kerry's mouth in the last year that hasn't been mealy-mouthed waffling and equivocation when it comes to foreign policy.

I am a fan of Howard Dean for the most part. But a huge black mark on the man is his association with Zionism and AIPAC. This makes him far less desirable as a real candidate for American interests. (By comparison, I think George Bush is a wholly owned subsidiary of Arik Sharon.)

I was previously unaware the Kerry also has the taint of being a neo-colonialist/genocidal symp w/r/t Israel's insane scheme for the Middle East.

Clue me in if you care to.

It is time to rein in Israel. They are destroyers, not builders. They are no longer a noble people. The IDF is a criminal operation today.
