Jacob,

I normally find a lot of fault in your logic, so have to break tradition and say it - great post!

Now in this post you admit that Begin was a terrorist and that Arafat is one. But I disagree with reviewing history and trying anyone for crimes - we should take the South African approach (ie its all behind us and lets move forward).

Begin was elected Prime Minister after 30 years as a law-abiding politician in the State of Israel. If Arafat had kept his promise to abandon terrorism and establish rule of law ten years ago, I wouldn't be going on about Arafat's past either.
